The 2008 movie poster for the supernatural romance movie “Twilight” directed by Catherine Hardwicke.

“Twilight” is about a girl named Isabella “Bella” Swan who moves to Forks, Washington, a town near Seattle, to live with her dad and attend a new high school. At the high school, there are some unusual people called the Cullens. The Cullen family is all adopted brothers and sisters that are gorgeous and keep to themselves. Bella is very curious to know more about the Cullen family, but what she doesn’t know is that they are all vampires.

Edward Cullen captures Bella’s eye almost immediately, and she is intrigued by his striking good looks and quiet personality. While Bella spends her time settling into her new school and making new friends, she can’t seem to stop herself from thinking about Edward. Her friends describe Edward as the strong, silent boy that everyone wants. However Edward has his heart set on nobody, until Bella arrives. Isabella Swan is a very quiet and uneasy girl that is unsure about moving to a new school but makes some friends quite quickly. What she doesn’t know is that Edward has his heart set on her as well.

The best part in my opinion was when Bella and Edward’s eyes first met because the director made it look as if you were also there. The author of the book also made a movie that makes it feel so realistic. This movie was also very enjoyable because of all the plot twists. The unexpected plot twists made me want to keep on watching and not wanting to stop .

My favorite character was Victoria, even though she isn’t one of the main characters and is in fact evil. Victoria is a nasty vampire who makes Bella’s life very difficult. I like her because of her personality and how she is mysterious but charming with everything she does. The characters felt so real to me because of how well they were described and what their strengths and weaknesses are. The movie was so unpredictable because of all the plot twists, and that was a good thing because it kept me watching. The negatives about this are very minor because of how good the movie was. Some parts in the movie were a little scary, and I think that the director could have toned it down a notch.

I would recommend this movie to older and more mature viewers because some parts in the movie may be a little scary for younger viewers and there is some romance in it. If you have watched this movie and liked it, then you would like the other sequel movies as well because it keeps the story growing and making you eager to want more. This movie is my favorite movie ever and goes incredibly well with the other movies in the romance industry as well.
