My name is Joseph Valera. I am currently a senior at Grayslake North and a new member of The Knight Times newspaper staff. I am looking most forward to meeting new people around the school and reporting great stories for the newspaper. I am excited to go to many games throughout the year and capture what it's like to be a part of Grayslake North. I am involved in the basketball team and some hobbies I have are collecting shoes, selling vintage clothes, and putting my friends on new music. Something very important to me is my faith and showing people that I am a Christian. My family is from the Philippines, and I love singing. I also enjoy traveling around the world and seeing others' perspectives.
