My name is Ava Salas, I am a sophomore at Grayslake North High School. This is my first year on staff of The Knight Times. I'm very passionate when it comes to writing non-bias pieces about current events. I love writing about equality; it's something I'm very passionate about. I also enjoy advocating for different communities as well as expressing my thoughts to my local community. I'm very excited to be a part of this class since it is a new change for me.
