Academic Team has started off on a good note as the varsity team won 2 out of the 3 matches they played and JV winning 1 out of the 3 matches. This event was held at Round Lake High School. 

The meet on December 5 was close for JV with 1 out of 3 of the meets one and a close 3rd round, for varsity they won 3 out of 3 in the events.

“It was a great victory at home,” said head coach Nicole Jameson.

This year’s varsity academic team consisted of Aidan Schmidt, Caleb Beausoleil, Claire Pritts, Ralf Landmesser, and Conor Race. The JV team also consists of Ethan Waldenstrom, Anna Santos, Mary Jo Santos, Alex Abney, Gavin Sheets, Jon Steeber and Kevin Scanlon. 

This group is working hard to achieve a big win in their next event on December 4 which is being held here. 

Jameson is sure to bring a lot of motivation to the team that encourages them and makes them work harder so they have a good year.
