Review: “The Miracle in Cell No. 7”

“The Miracle in Cell No. 7” is the most heartwarming film I have ever experienced. Although the film took place mostly in prison, it still sent shivers up my spine. The overall message in the story is although someone can have high standards in their job, they can still be the most sabotaging and disgusting people in the world. The author used foreshadowing many times in the film, and I think that was the best part.

The movie also gives off that message that even someone simple-minded, like the character Memo, can be taken advantage of and still not be mad at the world. This film highlighted an undying connection between a man and his daughter, who is the only one that only understood him. This film will show the audience what true love really is, and that no matter the circumstances, if you think positive and wait, the outcome will be good.

This film gave me a big glimpse into humanity and the real world because not everyone has a simple life and the struggle is real. The author showed that Memo and his daughter Ova were grateful for the things they had, even though it was almost nothing. This mentally challenged father and his intelligent six-year-old daughter showed the audience that nothing can come in between a father and daughter bond. I totally recommend this film if you are wanting to shed a tear or two.
