Students donate blood during school blood drive

The blood drive on October 23 collected one hundred and sixty-five pints of blood from the students and faculty.

They surpassed their goal this year. They wanted to collect 160 pints at the blood drive, according to activities director Molly Tomlinson.

“I’m happy to do it. Plus I have O- blood, so that’s good to donate,” said senior Tyler Palo.

Students had different reasons for donating.

I gave blood because I know it will go to someone who needs it more than me,” said junior Megan Eppel.
