This year’s school musical will be Into the Woods and will be performed two weekends, from March 9-11 and 15-17.

The story intertwines many fairytale storylines together, such as the stories of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, and a few others. It’s a modern twist on many classic tales.

“It’s fractured fairytales with a dark humor twist. Sondheim (the musical’s composer) found ways to interrelate all the characters in this tangled web that needs sorting out,” said director Cher Schwartz.
This humorous show will be the company’s last of this year, and rehearsal is already under way. The stage is set, so come see the shows at 7:00 p.m. March 9-10 and 15-16, or at 2:00 p.m. on March 11.

“I am excited to see the audience laugh and appreciate the hard work these kids are putting into the show. Its really funny. It’ll be a good show,” Schwartz said.
