The boys swimming season has concluded, but it ended with many personal goals achieved during Regionals and Sectionals.
North is only represented at Regionals but at no other point in the regular season does North receive a representative.
“I swim year-round on the Blue Devils. I only represent Grayslake North once a year. Our coach from the Blue Devils was at the meet and Coach (Jim) West was our coach for Grayslake North,” said sophomore Adam Chwieros.
At Regionals, season goals of cutting time were met and exceeded expectations.
“This season I set a high goal to achieve a regional time in either of my events, and in the end, I succeeded. I was able to achieve best times in both of the events I swam cutting huge amounts of time,” said freshman Alexander Larrivee.
As this season has come to an end, it is now time to look toward the future for following years.
“I feel confident that we will actually get that Regional title [next year],” said freshman Alex Merten.
