The varsity team had a victory over Grayslake Central High School last Friday on Senior Night.

After a tough and challenging game, the Knights won with a 47-14 score. The varsity coach had hoped for a nice and comfortable win, with a good lead.

Before the game,  was Senior Night. The seniors got recognized for their four years of hard work. The football team also promoted breast cancer through wearing pink socks.

“I feel confident. We are playing very  well. I think the kids are very excited, not only it is because we are playing Central, but is it also Senior Night,” said Coach Collin Mckillip.

The team had been practicing hard and tough. They put all their efforts and strength into  defeating tendencies of opposing team.

“As coaches, we scout our opponents film. This gives us tendencies that we share with kids.   During the week, we have drills designed to help us prepare for those tendencies,” Wood said.

The crowd was extremely excited to regroup with their friends. They look forward to football games to meet with their friends.
“I hope to see we polarize them and also see a lot of friends that I haven’t seen in forever,” said senior Lauren Mateling
