Baseball begins to prepare for Regionals

The baseball team looks sharp with a 12-15 record opening up conference play.
The baseball team took a spring trip to Florida, and it has been a big part of the team’s success.
“Going to Florida really benefitted our team. I think we got a lot closer as a team after bonding over the trip and has made us better overall,” said senior Bobby Krebs.
The Knights opened Conference play beating Hampshire back to back days for a 4-3 record in Conference.
“I think those wins were huge for us. Hampshire is a good team, and those wins against them prove we can and will compete with any team this year. Our goal this season was to compete in every game with every team, and we have done that so far. We look to continue that trend,” said senior Jake DaMore.
The baseball team looks to compete at a high level in hopes for a Conference title.
“This is our last season in the Fox Valley Conference, so we want to go out on a bang. This conference is full of tough competitors, but we feel we have a good shot at winning Conference in our last season in the Fox Valley,” said junior Danny Yates.
