Tennis finishes in Regional competition

The girls tennis team reaches the end of their 2015 season with their young team.
Working toward team goals, the team looks strong with eight wins.
“Our team goals were to be in the top half of our conference and to find success with almost an entirely new team in our starting positions,” said coach Jill Tomasello.
With a new line-up filling in the starting roles for the team, many seniors had to step up.
“Abby Rice, Emma Krostal, Charlotte Muehlman all stepped up this season for the team,” Tomasello said.
Many seniors enjoyed their last experiences with the team over the course of the season.
“My favorite part was being able to play tennis every day with really fun teammates and compete against really good players. I will miss being able to play every day with my friends, but I hope to keep playing tennis for fun in college,” said senior Abby Rice.
The team also had some individual success with players extending the season for themselves.
“Moving on individually for tennis was a cool experience that I will never forget,” said senior Emma Krostal. “My last season playing tennis has been bittersweet. It’s gonna be hard not being able to play with my teammates anymore, yet I’m excited for it to end.”
