Changes made to passing period music

Technology specialist Joe Greco switches up the music so students can enjoy new music every day during passing periods.
Technology specialists change music so students hear different genres of music by adding and taking out music from a playlist that is always set to play at a certain time of the day.
“Students chose the music, and I randomize the songs which creates a playlist that plays the songs in a random order. Before the school year ends, students will never hear the same song, or at least that same song in that exact order,” said Joe Greco.
Even though having this occupation is challenging, it still is a lot of fun to do.
“Every day is a challenge. You never know what you’re walking into. But, overall, it’s a lot of fun, and I enjoy helping the faculty, staff, and students,” Greco said.
Students are responding to this change in very different ways.
“I love the music so much, and I’m glad I can relate to some of the songs. It gets me pumped for my next class of the day,” said freshman Emma Picha.
Some students are glad the music has changed.
“The music is never the same. I’m glad we don’t have boring bells, plus most of the music they play students actually know,” said sophomore Jacob Harris.
