The volleyball team lines up for the “National Anthem” before the game.

Last Thursday, it was the varsity girls volleyball team’s fifth conference game of the season. The varsity team was still undefeated in conference, and wanted to capitalize on their already spectacular season.

North started off with a comfortable lead to begin the game.

“We were very confident before the game. We had the better record over North Chicago and we were 4-0 in conference,” said the middle hitter junior Morgan Nielsen.

The girls volleyball team played North Chicago in this game. The team strolled their way past the first set, winning 25-5.

“We have been working hard on running different plays at practice this week. I also think we played really well as a team today,” said senior Ari Knowles.

The varsity team kept their momentum going from the first set and won 25-7 in the second set.

The team is now 5-0 and is planning to keep going with this undefeated streak in conference until the playoffs.
