The dance team has started a fundraiser for their current and upcoming seasons. The fundraiser will take place online tarting September 17 until October 15.

”The reason for the Snap Raise Fundraiser is to try and raise as much money as we can for the dance team. The money will go towards things like costumes, competitions, and important factors in order to benefit the dance team,” said senior and varsity dance captain Itzel Gonzalez.

Competition seasons can become extremely expensive. The fundraiser helps cover many different costs. It helps the team focus on their season and practices and not have to worry about the financial aspects.

In case someone would like to support the team but is unable to donate, the fundraiser is not the only way to show support. There are many other ways to help the team out.

“If unable to donate, you can help spread the word of this fundraiser to others, and coming down to cheer on our team at home games and coming to watch us perform at competitions is always a great way to support our team.” said sophomore Nicole Pierre.

The dance team is one of the school’s pep teams. They have performances at football games, basketball games, and other school events. If unable to travel to competitions, those are home performances that are available.

The fundraiser can be found on the dance team’s Instagram page bio. On the assumption someone has questions or concerns about the fundraiser, they can simply reach out to the head dance coach Kimberly Vojack, along with Keeley Naughton.
