Annual powder puff game ends in 6-0 win for the juniors

The powder puff game, the long awaited annual girls vs girls football game, happened last Wednesday night.

The game was exciting with great plays throughout both halves. It went back and forth, but ultimately junior Emma Dusek had the game winning touchdown in the first half. It was a success with the juniors winning 6-0.

“It was fun and a great way to meet people and just work as a team,” said junior Nicole Martinez who will hopefully help her class go undefeated as seniors next year.

“It was very hyped up, and people were excited to go,” said coach Wyatt Johnson.

The game was very fun for the players as they grew as friends and played as a team.

“We played good like a team. We played pretty fair and hyped each other up,” Martinez said.

The game as always was a memory that’ll last a lifetime for the players, class of 2020 and 2021 along with the attendees.
