Varsity football plays Lakes
This past Friday the varsity football team faced the Lakes Eagles and nearly won but still faced a loss of 55-44.
Lakes did suffer their own kind of loss Friday night during the game. Their teammate number 8 was injured during a dogpile and then taken out for the rest of the game.
“It was just a crazy game, but the teams still worked hard,” Coach Baker said.
The Knights scored their first touchdown in the second quarter, then their second touchdown was scored by number 11, Tony Hienes, who then scored a two point conversion making the scored 21 to 14 with Lakes in the lead.
The Knights trailed the Eagles through the third and fourth quarter but kept up a strong fight throughout the whole game with putting in maximum effort through it all. Even though the Knights did lose, they gave Lakes a win for their Homecoming game. Hopefully North has the same luck with their Homecoming game this Friday.
