Natalie Davila is a young 16 year old girl who not only fights for her own rights, but she also fights for other people’s rights.
“I’m interested in fighting for human rights. I know that every single person deserves equality and equity regardless of race, sexual orientation, creed, gender, or anything else,” Davila said.
During Natalie’s free time, she fights to make a change in the world in any possible way she can.
“I like to go to protests any chance I get. There’s almost one every single weekend. Looking at the world, more specifically this country now, there’s plenty to protest and stand up against,” Davila said.
She is currently in Woke, a club that helps being aware of societal issues and doing the best to fix them.
“Woke is just a small step. When we have meetings, we prepare for what we need to say to the school administration. I have my own personal projects because I can’t always follow rules on another person’s terms,” Davila said.
