Students participate in Snowball
Student leaders and teachers attended the annual Snowball trip on March 15. Snowball is a club that helps people make the right choices and leads them down the
right path.
When in Snowball, the club goes on retreats to Camp Duncan to do group bonding activities. The activities bring people together, and they learn new things about the people they meet and ways to help better their community.
“Snowball has given me the opportunity to live better and make better choices in life. It’s a way to get together with phenomenal people and have an overall positive message on our lives,” said junior Sage Lawson.
Our community uses this to our advantage to accept more new people. Snowball guides them and helps them through their new adventure.
“Snowball has a welcoming environment that allows us to be ourselves no matter how goofy or serious we are. The group of students who attend Snowball get split up and participate in team bonding to meet new people and have fun,” said senior Stephanie Krnich.
A ton of people make a difference and don’t even realize that they did. Everyone in Snowball comes together and helps each other in so many different ways.
“It’s more of a family coming together to impact our community. It’s not only teachers, but our peers who are involved. It’s really nice to see everyone come together and open up to each other in ways they can’t in school,” said senior Jacque Garza.
