As Dr. Catherine Finger is nearing the end of her role as a superintendent in Grayslake, she begins to focus more on her novel series set to be complete in June 2017.
“I want to tell stories about strong women working in a male dominated field, and my character arch is to write about people who have complex things happen to them that they can’t control,” Finger said.
Finger’s first book Cleansed by Death came out January 2015. She has since wrote two other books that she will be adding to her series.
Dr. Finger’s second book in the series is titled Shattered by Death that came out June 2016. She is currently in the process of getting her third book published and halfway writing her fourth book.
“A thriller is fast paced action; it’s moving all the time. I didn’t realize my books were thrillers until they hit the market,” Finger said.
Finger is working on two leadership books. She is halfway through and has interviewed nine different leaders.
“Write on. Get a notebook and write in it everyday. The great thing about writing that I have found is your love only grows stronger over time,” Finger said.
