Girls bowling has found their groove this season with much success at all levels.
The team overall has been performing to a high degree with the team placing fourth overall at Regionals and moving on to Sectionals. They excel not just in their performance, but in their team chemistry. The girls have a warm chemistry that helps motivate and improve their performance.
“I got my PR this year up to 299, so I was really happy about that. I’ve been placing at tournaments, so that’s also good, but I’m excited for Conference, Regionals, Sectionals, and State coming up,” said senior Brooke Ellingson.
This year’s outstanding team player has been senior Brooke Ellingson. She has been committed to the sport for years and will continue her bowling career at Carroll University. From incredible scores and a vibrant personality, she brings an infectious energy to the team.
“We all get along really well. I have a lot of friends there, so it’s more fun that way,” said junior Amariana Tovar.
The team will soon tackle a new level of opponents at Sectionals and hopefully send many members of the team to State.
“I think varsity is doing pretty good. We’ve found our groove and routine. We have Sectionals this weekend. If we don’t make it as a team, I think a few individuals will advance to State,” said junior Rosa Clark.
