Girls varsity tennis had a great season with two girls on the team making it to State.
Doubles partners Briana Pagac and Robyn George were second at the NLCC conference and seated number three in Sectionals. The two girls had great teamwork throughout the season to get them to were they are. They made State and placed top forty.
“They were consistently impressive throughout the season,” said head coach Allison Szramek
Before the end of the season, the girls tennis team worked hard every day during their practices for the upcoming matches.
“The best match was against Grayslake Central during the conference tournament because it was very close and challenging,” said junior Robyn George.
Along with excellent teamwork, the bonds that were created with teammates would make the season even more enjoyable.
“My favorite part of tennis is bonding with the team. The girls are always so nice, so any time we can spend together is always fun,” said junior Briana Pagac.
