The members of the basketball team participate in open gym to prepare for the basketball season.

Coach Feinzimer has set up an open gym as a pre-season run to see what these students can bring to the basketball team. Coach Feinzimer has said that the best thing about this incoming freshman class is how hardworking they are and how they are willing to improve.

“I think it’s a good group of hardworking players; I think from what I’ve seen over the summer and fall ball, they want to get better,” Feinzimer said.

Something that Coach Feinzimer doesn’t want to see in a player is a bad attitude.

“I don’t want to see bad attitudes. I don’t want to see bad body language when something doesn’t go their way,” Feinzimer said.

Hayden Cink, one of the students at the open gym pre-tryouts, said that he’s “a good shooting guard, good at driving.”

“I’m a good shooting guard, good at driving,” Cink said.
